July 13th

July 13th 8:22pm

     So yesterday, I went to KFC with my mom. She was on her way to a book fair, and she made a detour to come and see me. We talked about a lot of things. Then she dropped me of and went on her merry way. Later, I went to dinner with Desiree, J.R., and Rachel S., and it rained.

Rachel expressed a desire to walk to her brother's office, and we did. It was like a mile walk, and we got caught in the rain. I loved it, but I was concerned my phone would get damaged (it didn't!). So we were at her brother's office for about 10 minutes. She wanted to see a dog that

had 5 legs. So after that, we walked all the way to Aimee's house, which is another 2 miles or so. Rachel stated that she wasn't feeling well. So I ended up arriving at Aimee's house alone because Rachel went home. I helped wash dishes, and then I made her an anklet. Then we played

Apples to Apples. There were probably about 10-14 of us. It was a lot of fun So after the party ends, I walk from Aimee's house to the caf where I check my laundry, then I walk from the caf to just before the auditorium when Desiree appears in her car and asks me if I want to

go to Sonic. I say yes, because I  am starving. It is midnight by the way. So we drive to Sonic, and it's closed. So then we go next door to Carl's Jr., which was my first time to eat there. It was very good. So we eat, drive back to campus, and go to bed (it is now 1am). Next thing I know,

it is 11am, and I am being woken up saying that I should get ready for lunch (it was Desiree by the way). So I get dressed and I leave. I see Rachel S. at the caf, so we get in line for lunch. They start handing out food, and when they get to me, they reject me because I forgot to bring

my food badge. I was heartbroken. I nearly cried right then and there. It had looked so yummy!! But Desiree gave me some of her food, and I was very thankful. So after lunch, we pick up Sarah Joy and go to Wal-Mart. Then we went to Sonic (little did I know that one of my Discovery

Camp friends was working there at the time). And then we dropped Sarah Joy off and went to the dorm. I picked up my laundry, then we watched Despicable Me in the lounge (my first time in the lounge, and

definitely not my last). We go eat dinner (oh yeah! I found my badge!!). Then Rachel gives Desiree and J.R. a haircut. I went to my dorm, and a guy volunteer by the name of Zach knocked on the door and asked to borrow a movie.
