     I have officially been here for 1 whole day! Only 52 left, haha. Last night I met two more girls in my dorm. One's name is Emily, and the other Desiree. I went to a concert with Desiree that night. We saw The Letter Black. We didn't stay for the whole thing because we were both

tired. So Jordan told me to be in the SAC by 9am. So I got dressed and arrived in the sac at 9. I didn't know what I was doing. I was asking random people what I was supposed to be doing...and they didn't know. And then I stumbled upon my friend, Aimee. I have known Aimee my

whole life, and she is part of the reason I went to volunteer in the first place. So she helped me find who I needed to find. But they didn't need me until 11:30am. So Aimee and I walked outside and talked. She showed me where she worked, we exchanged numbers, and we talked

about mission trips. So after awhile, we bid farewell, and I went back to my dorm and waited for 11:30 to roll around. So at 11:30am I went (with Desiree) and went behind the serving counter and handed people

 cheese for their hamburgers. Then I cleared the tables and sprayed them down. Reminds me of the camp I was at last year where I volunteered...2:35pm

10:02pm...well, I went to dinner. Meatball subs (I served people the bread). They were good, although I didn't eat the bread. Just the meatballs and cheese, and the AMAZING chocolate chip cookie. There has been an argument on if they were white chocolate chips or

macadamia nuts...I think they were macadamia nuts. Working is fun. I really enjoy it. I wish I got more hours though. I only worked 4 and a 1/2 hours today...I would rather work for 8 hours or so. I feel so useless just sitting here. And I find it awkward to go out and make friends. Maybe

some more volunteers will arrive. I saw and talked to Shannon today! She is Aimee's younger sister who is here for eXtreme Camps. We are really good friends. I hadn't seen her in years! It felt as though we had never been apart! We talked about all sorts of things. I didn't talk to her

very long because I was "on the job". But it was definitely nice to see her. I am supposed to go to the ropes course with her tomorrow...hopefully I won't be working. By the way, Group ! Crew will be here Thursday!! I am excited!
